European Youth Together
Empowering Youth for Peace, Participation, and a Democratic Future
Peace, human rights, and active citizenship – these are not only the founding principles of the European Union but also the pillars of a strong, united, and resilient society.
The European Youth Together project is a dynamic initiative aimed at empowering young people across Europe, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to embrace and uphold the core values of democracy, peace, and human dignity. In light of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the broader challenges facing our continent, the project seeks to engage youth in meaningful dialogue and action, reinforcing the importance of their voices and choices – especially with the European Elections 2024 on the horizon.
Through a variety of activities, the project promotes awareness, critical thinking, and active involvement in democratic life:

International conferences in all partner countries, addressing key themes related to European values and youth engagement.

Innovative VR trainings and simulations, offering immersive experiences in the functioning of EU institutions.

“Stories of Europe” YouTube Channel, featuring real-life interviews with refugees from conflict zones and authoritarian regimes.

Local awareness campaigns to encourage youth participation in the upcoming European Elections.
The project aims to reach over 20,000 young people across 9 European countries: Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Turkiye.
We are proud to announce that We as One is the official partner organization from Latvia, actively contributing to the implementation of the project and the engagement of Latvian youth in this meaningful European dialogue.
By fostering tolerance, cooperation, social responsibility, and a deep respect for human rights, European Youth Together is shaping a new generation of informed, responsible, and active European citizens.
