About We As One
"We As One" was founded in 2022 by Niklāss Pugejs and Rinalds Orlovskis, two passionate young leaders dedicated to fostering unity, diversity, and social inclusion. Our organization’s primary goal is to unite people from different walks of life, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, age, or background, and create a sense of belonging within society. We believe that real community development is only achievable when people come together and act as one, transcending differences. Through our activities and voluntary efforts, we aim to create a positive, inclusive environment for everyone.
Our Vision
At "We As One," we envision a future where young people lead the way toward greater understanding and acceptance of diversity. Our focus is on encouraging positive change by working with young people and spreading the message of unity through various projects and voluntary actions. We believe in the power of youth and their ability to shape a more inclusive, open-minded society where people from all cultures and backgrounds can coexist harmoniously.
Our Mission
Our mission is rooted in the belief that unity is the key to overcoming the challenges that arise from cultural and ethnic differences. We aim to:
Eliminate racism, xenophobia, and discriminatory behavior.
Create awareness about human rights, refugee issues, gender inequality, and minority rights.
Promote social inclusion by supporting disadvantaged groups, including refugees and marginalized individuals, through voluntary programs.
Foster an environment where diversity is celebrated, much like a vibrant garden where different flowers grow together.
Through our activities and Erasmus+ projects, we aim to create a lasting international impact, spreading the message of unity and social inclusion across borders.

Our Core Goals
-
Organize voluntary activities to encourage youth to embrace open-mindedness and celebrate differences.
-
Implement Erasmus+ projects that create international collaboration and multicultural exchange.
-
Reach out to minority groups and help them gain the skills and knowledge they need to integrate into society.
-
Offer training programs for refugees, especially focused on language skills and cultural integration.
-
Raise awareness among young people on issues related to refugees, immigrants, and the rights of minorities.
-
Contribute to community development by promoting the concept of “unity in diversity.”
Meet the Team
Social Support Program for Disadvantaged People in Riga
Our team participated in a state-backed program aimed at helping disadvantaged individuals improve their skills and increase their employability. As part of this initiative, our team members taught computer literacy and foreign language courses to individuals over the age of 35, fostering social inclusion.
Democracy Festival in Riga
Our organization participated in the LAMPA Democracy Festival, which allowed us to learn more about democratic values and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on democracy.
Erasmus+ Projects
We actively engage in Erasmus+ projects, both as participants and as project leaders. These projects have provided us with the opportunity to work on a global scale, sharing our values of unity and social inclusion while learning from others in diverse cultural settings.
