Cultural Compass: Navigating Diversity Through Communication

Between 29 October and 5 November 2024, we were in Spain for the Cultural Compass: Navigating Diversity Through Communication youth workers mobility project in Spain.

During the project, participants explored their own cultural identity, learnt about others and developed empathy and understanding to challenge stereotypes. Through activities promoting open and respectful dialogue, they gained valuable skills to create more inclusive environments in their communities.

What We Achieved:

Raised awareness about Erasmus Plus opportunities, encouraging more young people to participate.

Organized workshops and campaigns to combat discrimination, racism, and xenophobia.

Promoted non-formal learning, enhancing mutual understanding and social dialogue among young people from different countries.

Celebrated cultural richness, showing how diversity strengthens our communities.

Empowered participants to sustain intercultural awareness and communication skills beyond the project.

This initiative has left a lasting impact, inspiring participants to contribute to a more inclusive and understanding world.
